As the Admiral Hotel has undergone a major change over the last few years, with a complete renovation of our 366 rooms, the adventure now continues downstairs. Here, we will do a complete makeover, except for our iconic and historic wooden beams and the brick walls of course, in close collaboration with The Agency for Culture and Palaces.
Instead, we are building a groundfloor with a more modern interior and a number of new concepts that will invite both international tourists and local Copenhageners. However, this means that when we say welcome to Admiral 2.0, we also say goodbye to the hotel’s beautiful, maritime items, which will no longer be part of the visual expression. It was therefore a natural choice to collabrorate with the Danish auction house, Bruun Rasmussen, as several of the items have been bought at auctions, and we know that the large collection in this way, and in the best way, will set sail for new owners.
