Working with and integrating the many aspects of the building has been of the utmost importance with regard to the design and furnishing of the hotel rooms.
- The harbour, the water and sky, which affects the light, the views and creates an ever-changing activity outside the windows.
- The architecture with the dominant wooden beams and pillars and the massive walls, arches and alcoves.
- Our desire to emphasise the building’s maritime, masculine and exclusive style.
The colours chosen for the rooms are a blend of outdoor and indoor, selected to give the rooms an inviting air. Skagerak designed the teak furniture and appointments especially for the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel. The bedcovers create an atmosphere of homeliness and luxurious quality while the sofa and armchairs contribute to creating spaces within space, thus widening the room’s functionality.
The 366 rooms, including our 52 suites, are all equipped with a state of the art TV and radio system, telephone, internet/Wi-Fi, mini-bar, hairdryer and the availability of 24-hour room service, laundry and valet service.
