Modern Danish culinary art
SALT’s cuisine is the essence of innovation and inspired flavour combinations – modern Danish created on the firm foundation of traditions, where modern techniques enhance the experience on the palate. With recognisably classic taste, local Danish produce is used to express innovative thinking. A menu of modern classics that challenge conformity to bring new pleasures.
Since 2004, SALT’s award winning head chef, Rasmus Møller Nielsen, has been the cornerstone in our strategy to consistently combine tradition with new thinking: between the security of the comfort zone and the challenge of creating something new. This process has led to a concentrated focus on the presentation of modern Danish cuisine.
Every third week, the restaurant presents an especially created SALT dinner menu, which allows guests to choose between three, four or five courses.

The taste of summer on the Admiral Quay, ships under sail and the buzz of harbour life.
Join us in front of the Admiral Hotel and enjoy the atmosphere of one of Copenhagen’s “sweet spots”.
While relaxing on SALT café’s wooden patio deck on the Admiral Quay, you can enjoy views of veteran schooners, boats passing by and the harbour shoreline.
The SALT kitchen offers enticing, light dishes, such as “shell your own” North Atlantic shrimps with mayonnaise, lemon and crisp rye bread.
