Admiral Hotel enjoys a central location, and several of the city’s major events take place nearby. As a result, traffic patterns may be affected at time. On this page, we keep you updated on upcoming events, route changes, and any potential impact on accessibility and parking around the hotel. Whether you’re a guest, a neighbor, or just passing through, we’re here to help you plan your day in the best possible way. Traffic disruptions will be announced via your welcome email and the digital guestbook, which you’ll receive access to a few days before your arrival.

Traffic Information – Sunday, April 19 2026
In connection with The Royal Copenhagen City Half, access to and from Admiral Hotel will be limited Sunday morning from 09:00 to 10:30. During this period, the route will be closed, but crossing points will be available at Esplanaden and Nyhavnsbroen.
We recommend:
• Planning arrival or departure before 09:00 or after 10:30
• Using public transport to avoid delays
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
Please note that our parking area in front of the hotel is only available to the left of the main entrance. To park in front of the hotel, turn left at the beginning of the hotel before reaching the main entrance. If you drive too far, the one-way street requires a longer route to get back to the parking area. Alternatively, you can use Jeudan Parking under Kvæsthusmolen. Please note that parking spaces in front of the hotel are limited.

We would like to inform you that there is currently dense traffic in the area around Admiral Hotel. Toldbodgade has been made one-way in the southbound direction except for cyclists and pedestrians so if you are arriving at the hotel by car, you should therefore drive via Amaliegade and turn left onto Toldbodgade. Upon departure, you should turn right onto Sankt Annæ Plads and then onto Bredgade to exit the city.
Our nearest parking garage is Q-Park in Adelgade. Please contact the reception for further guidance or any questions.
