We regularly update this page with the latest changes.
Admiral Hotel is centrally located, and many of the city’s major events take place nearby. As a result, traffic conditions may change during certain periods. On this page, we’ll keep you updated on upcoming events:
September 20: CPH Half
On Sunday, September 20, CPH Half will take place in Copenhagen. As a result, there will be changes to traffic conditions around Admiral Hotel.
From 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM, the one-way restriction on Toldbodgade will be temporarily lifted, allowing traffic in both directions, with access to and from the area via Esplanaden and Grønningen. A traffic crossing point will also be in place at Holmens Kanal and Holbergsgade from 7.00 – 09.20 AM and again from 1.25 – 5.00 PM.
As Admiral Hotel is centrally located in Copenhagen and close to the race route, guests should expect longer travel times to and from the hotel throughout the day. We therefore recommend using the Metro where possible.
If you are arriving or departing by car or taxi, we recommend allowing extra travel time – particularly when travelling to or from Copenhagen Airport, as traffic will be redirected via alternative routes.
To ensure a smooth departure, we also recommend settling any outstanding charges at Reception well in advance of your departure.

Whether you are a guest, a neighbor, or simply passing through, we’re here to help you plan your day as smoothly as possible. We will notify you of any traffic changes via your welcome email and the digital guestbook, which you will receive access to a few days prior to arrival.
Please note that our parking area in front of the hotel is only available to the left of the main entrance. To park in front of the hotel, turn left at the beginning of the hotel before reaching the main entrance. If you drive too far, the one-way street requires a longer route to get back to the parking area. Alternatively, you can use Jeudan Parking under Kvæsthusmolen. Please note that parking spaces in front of the hotel are limited.

We would like to inform you that there is currently dense traffic in the area around Admiral Hotel. Toldbodgade has been made one-way in the southbound direction except for cyclists and pedestrians so if you are arriving at the hotel by car, you should therefore drive via Amaliegade and turn left onto Toldbodgade. Upon departure, you should turn right onto Sankt Annæ Plads and then onto Bredgade to exit the city.
Our nearest parking garage is Q-Park in Adelgade. Please contact the reception for further guidance or any questions.
