You can enjoy your breakfast 06:30 hrs. – 10:00 hrs. on weekdays and until 10:30 hrs. at the weekend.
The SALT restaurant breakfast buffet also offers mid-morning coffee to go but there is a wide variety of cosy cafés where freshly brewed coffee is there for your pleasure. Lagkagehuset in the Copenhagen V district has coffee to suit all tastes, be it espresso, caffè latte or filter coffee. Located centrally in the city, Lagkagehuset is the ideal departure point for your further exploration of the city’s streets, nooks and crannies.
Take a bite of perfect Danish ”smørrebrød” by ordering a lunch platter at Aamans’ Etablissement on Øster Farimagsgade. Aamans’ lunch menu is available every day between 12:00 hrs. and 16:00 hrs. Quality and the tastiness of the produce is very eminent at Aamans – and their smørrebrød with fried herring, beef tartar or grilled porterhouse are difficult to ignore.
Towards the end of an eventful day in Copenhagen, there can be no doubt that you deserve something for your sweet tooth! Conditori La Glace is Denmark’s oldest confectionery with the recipes handed down through 6 generations. Here you can devour some history while enjoying one of the confectioner’s fabulous cakes in traditional, cosy surroundings.
AN AFTERNOON BEER
If you are suffering from an outrageous thirst, the Nørrebro Bryghus (Nørrebro Brewery) is the place to be for a cold, refreshing beer. This local brewery has many uniquely flavoured beers on offer, amongst others the combination of fresh green apple and blackcurrant. However, you can also choose to stick with a traditional draught beer.
As evening closes in, the SALT restaurant invites you to drop in for a choice dinner, where innovation and tempting flavours are the foundation for the kitchen’s food, using fresh Danish produce and vision. You can compose your dinner from the seasons’ changing dishes on the menu card and embellish it with a wine, selected from the SALT restaurant’s cellar of more than 400 wines.
AFTER DINNER DRINKS
You can always enjoy a cocktail in the SALT bar where colourful drinks in a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere are the order of the day. Alternatively, you can choose to go out on the town and explore Copenhagen’s nightlife and, not far from the hotel, we can recommend Fidel’s Cocktail Bar, where exotic drinks are served to the background of inciting Latin beats.
